Because a goal not written down is only a good idea.

Now that all the Christmas craziness is behind me (thank goodness!), it's that time of year to focus in on all the goals I'd like to set for myself this year. So, here's my top ten goals of 2009-
  1. Run a 5k in less than 24 minutes. Current PR is 25:47.
  2. Start running longer distances (5+ miles) at least once a week.
  3. Play in a local mixed doubles tennis tournament with Will.
  4. Learn how to swim, like really swim- backstroke, breaststroke, etc.
  5. Save at least $500/month. (<---Will really likes this one.)
  6. Lose 10 lbs (or more) and keep it off!
  7. Refinish the 2 old dressers that are collecting dust in the garage.
  8. Reorganize and redecorate the loft upstairs.
  9. Spend more time working with Coleman on reading and helping Cooper with his speech.
  10. Read more books. Not to the boys. I read plenty of those. I mean actual grown-up best-seller list books. Then maybe I won't feel like I'm getting dumber with each passing year.
So, that's a pretty good list for now. Would be a great feeling if I could come back and look at this post next year with all these things under my belt. Happy 2009!

Coleman's Christmas Singing Time 2008

Mrs. Cameron's and Mrs. Flethcher's classes teamed up for the singing time this month. It was great to see Coleman having so much fun. He really loves to dance! Here are just a few clips of all the fun. Enjoy!

This picture makes me laugh.

I've got this on my computer as my desktop background. I'd be lying if I said I don't feel like this every once in a while. :)

Chef of the Day!

I woke up this morning to a couple emails congratulating me on being Chef of the Day on Recipezaar's website. "Huh?" I thought. So, I went to the site and look who's mug I saw on the front page. Hilarious! Maybe now someone will try the recipes I posted!
